Forward Forsyth hosted the third annual Manufacturers of Distinction and Leadership (MODL) Awards and Economic Development Summit on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. These awards serve as an opportunity to recognize the exceptional, local companies involved in the manufacturing industry and celebrate the many contributions these companies provide to Forsyth County. “The face of modern-day manufacturing is an important element in local workforce development and the Chamber is proud to partner with local companies investing in the region’s future,” commented Robert Long, Vice President of Economic Development at the Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, the Chamber even recognized one local company with an Environmental Sustainability Award during the event. The winner of this award aims to be leaner (no waste), greener (no impact) and globally competitive.
