Forsyth County Schools (FCS) is pleased to announce the 2020 graduation rate, 96.14%, which is the highest graduation rate in the history of the school district. This year’s graduation rate also places FCS at the highest graduation rate among metro-Atlanta and large school districts in Georgia.
“All Forsyth County high schools increased their percentage of graduates from 2019 to 2020 and were well above the state graduation rate of 83.8%,” shared FCS Superintendent Jeff Bearden. “A big congratulations to our K-12 teachers and staff that worked to support our students throughout their educational journey and thank you to our students and their families for their commitment to obtaining a high school diploma.”
South Forsyth HS (549 graduates) had the highest graduation rate in Georgia for high schools graduating over 300 students, and Lambert HS (716 graduates), had the highest graduation rate in Georgia for high schools graduating over 550 students.
