For nine consecutive years Forsyth County has been named the Healthiest County in Georgia by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. While many factors contribute to this remarkable ranking, Northside Hospital Forsyth is one of the largest contributors to our community’s outstanding health levels. So, it’s no surprise that the Forsyth County Northside campus was recently named one of the World’s Best Hospitals by Newsweek.
The two thousand hospitals named in this list – which covers twenty-five countries – were chosen for their consistent excellence including distinguished physicians, top-notch nursing care and state-of-the-art technology. Only seven Georgia hospitals were included in this global list. Northside Hospital Forsyth also stood out on the Newsweek report by performing above average in infection prevention measures.
“Northside Hospital Forsyth continues to expand services to meet the constant growing healthcare needs of our community. They have consistently protected our citizens’ health and championed positive community development efforts as a long-standing partner. I am extremely proud of our Northside location and believe their recognition is very well deserved,” commented James McCoy, President and CEO of the Forsyth County Chamber.
“Northside Hospital Forsyth is committed to balancing clinical excellence with compassionate care. Our success has been built on physicians and staff who are greatly skilled and deeply passionate, and a patient community that entrusts us with their healthcare. I am so proud of the team I get to work with here. Our leaders possess grace, humility, and a keen eye for improving performance while building the self-esteem and confidence of all staff members. We are so very grateful for this recognition,” said Lynn Jackson, Chief Operating Officer of Northside Hospital Forsyth.
