Forward Forsyth’s 2026–2030 Strategic Plan
The 2026–2030 Strategic Plan is a focused, results-driven roadmap designed to guide Forsyth County’s economic growth and competitiveness over the next five years. As one of Georgia’s fastest-growing counties, Forsyth County is at a critical point where strategic planning and coordinated leadership are essential to sustaining long-term business success.
In May 2025, Forward Forsyth—a public-private partnership of the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, Forsyth County Government, Development Authority of Forsyth County, Forsyth County School System, University of North Georgia, and Lanier Technical College—engaged Fourth Economy to develop the 2026–2030 Economic Development Strategic Plan. The planning process utilized both qualitative and quantitative research methods to assess Forsyth County’s economic performance and competitiveness. This work informed a comprehensive action-planning phase, including rigorous evaluation and pressure-testing of the plan’s strategic direction and recommendations.
Forward Forsyth is built around clear priorities that strengthen the local economy, support business expansion, attract investment, develop a skilled workforce, and enhance infrastructure. The plan outlines measurable objectives that position Forsyth County to remain a premier destination for employers and entrepreneurs.
