FoCo Works Focuses on Local, Workforce Development

This Spring, the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce launched FoCo Works as an extension of Forward Forsyth’s 2020 Economic Recovery Plan. FoCo Works was created to engage employers and community partners in collaborative activities that attract, strengthen and retain a diverse, skilled workforce and provide equitable access to opportunities to develop the future workforce of Forsyth County.

Foco Works assists career-seekers in increasing their skill sets, enhancing their resume and learning about employment opportunities. Employers can post opportunities, create a virtual career fair booth within industry-specific corridors and connect with talent LIVE during virtual hiring events.

Employers and career-seekers alike can take advantage of the benefits FoCo Works has to offer by creating a free user account at FoCoWorks.org. There is no cost for career-seekers or employers to be a part of the initiative. Check it out HERE.

To learn more about FoCo Works and how to get engaged contact Forward Forsyth’s Existing Industry Project Manager, Alex Warner at awarner@forwardforsyth.org.
